Sponsor a firefighter in Peru. Firefighters are a volunteer position in Peru, they relay on donations for equipments and volunteer their timer. Resources are lacking. Provide firefighters with some gear with a $200 sponsorship
Dick and Beatriz are local leaders in the city of Pucallpa, Peru. They lead four ministries in this Amazon region: an outreach to poor children and those with disabilities, leadership development with teenagers, a care ministry to elderly persons, and visiting tribal peoples deep in the Amazon forests of Peru. Together, their desire is to bring joy and love to the marginalized in their community and in the underserved areas beyond. Volunteers will support Dick and Beatriz in Pucallpa through programs to children, teens, or elderly community members, including hospital visits, after school activities, and clown shows. There are also opportunities to travel deep into the Amazon to bring compassion to indigenous peoples. For those interested in the lives of first responders abroad, Dick will involve you in his work as a volunteer fireman.
